When I say fashion for two I don’t mean matchy matchy Justin and Britney circa 2001 American Music Awards, I mean dressing as a mama to be. Dressing while pregnant can be tricky at the best of times, factor in a black tie event and it becomes a minefield. You will want to feel your usual glamorous self, but finding clothes that are your style that flatter your new figure can be very difficult. I can only imagine how difficult it would be preparing for the Oscars. Yes you may have an army of stylists who want to dress you, but I have no doubt even A – listers have days when they would rather dress in over the bumpleggings and a baggy top. I miss those leggings.

In my opinion all expectant mama’s look beautiful with all of them staying true to their own sense of style. Empire cut dresses can look beautiful as both Hannah Redmayne and Emily Blunt show us, and Chrissy Teigen looks sublime, and not to mention so happy, in a more fitted gown. My standout dress has to be Anne Hathaway at the Vanity Fair Oscar’s party. I love how her style has developed over the years. Her hair and make up showed off her glowing skin to perfection. Bravo Anne.

What I especially liked on all ladies as there wasn’t a single hand on bump pose that many of today’s ‘celebs’ like to do.
